British Airways Plc (”BA”) acts as the data controller and processes your personal data in accordance with its privacy policy found here: Privacy Policy | Legal | British Airways (“Privacy Policy”). BA has partnered with Uncommon Creative Studios Limited (UCS), who act as our data processor and are based at 102‑108 Clerkenwell Road, London EC1M 5SA to help us deliver the Campaign and collect and process your data for the Campaign on our instructions.

We will only collect a limited amount of information about you in order to provide a welcome message to the Passenger and carry out a marketing campaign. This will include your first name, email address and content of welcome message to be conveyed to the Passenger who is flying into the UK (the “Passenger”). We will also need information from you about the Passenger you would like to surprise. This will include their first name only, their date of arrival, origin airport and time of arrival and/or flight number. BA may contact you to see if you would like to make your message extra special which may include billboards, localised placements, branded film - a short video clip of you/your loved ones reaction to your message. This would be entirely voluntary. The information we collect will be used strictly for this purpose and for the duration of the Campaign only. We will delete this information as soon as the Campaign has come to an end. We will only follow up with you if you have authorised us to do so.

We will rely on your consent and/or our legitimate interests to process the data that you provide both in relation to yourself as the Requester and on behalf of the Passenger.
